ACLU supported extraditing a political refugee to US from what was then the USSR-- and its argument was based on protecting family values and the legal rights of parents over minor children, specifically denying authority of federal courts to examine best interests of child as opposed to wishes of parents as conveyed from behind iron curtain by Soviet government. The obvious inconsistency of the ACLU position with its own statements on every similar issue in America was pointed out by law prof. Charles Fried at the time in debate with ACLU leader. The ACLU's answers left no doubt that it viewed the Soviet government as its political client. Saps for American freedom they are not. Porn is far more deletrious to our Republic than Assault Rifles, yet the very same people who wish to preserve porn want to ban a weapon technology which goes back 100 years. 2. The ACLU and its allies have turned many of our finest women into whores and drug addicts. 3. I think that as a Christian it is acceptable to hate the porn peddlers. They are, after all, the minon of Satan. 4. I think this was an attack on your website due to your blog post two weeks ago attacking the gay man who claimed in the horrid newspaper The Santa Fe New Mexican that Christian Churches were starting to accept the gay lifestyle. 5.
