I think you're right, Brigette. Doggone it, we conservative women must have just had too many white male oppressors in our past that we were forced to develop the Stockholm Syndrome to survive what we were going through. I am glad Dr. Garafolo has been able to clear a lot of this up for me!

Not only was I unaware that I have a limbic system that is causing my synapses to misfire

And don't forget the Stockholm Syndrome. As a woman, you can only be a conservative if you have that, since if you weren't so befuddled by your white male oppressors, you'd know you really ought to be a leftist.

Keith Olbermann is a douche. He sucked on sportscenter and is even more ridiculous as a political commentator. Howe come only no-talent white guys can get a job like that. MSNBC needs more Hispanics. Hell, they ought to create a Dept of Hispanic affairs at the network so that Hispanics will be more fairly represented. I'm sure MSNBC could just as easily find a Latino blowhard to fill Olbermann's role, and undoubtedly a Hispanic will do it with a lot more style. Arriba! Arriba!

P.S. How much you want to bet that Olbermann has done a LOT of pot?

1. Thanks for posting that story.

2. It seems that rednecks are a minority and should be a protected species. Lord knows, they seem to be a "self-protected" species due to their interest in weaponry. Show some love for the rednecks. Ford needs to sell more of those trucks, y'know.

Not only was I unaware that I have a limbic system that is causing my synapses to misfire, it comes as quite a shock to me to find out that I am a racist and a homophobe. Or that I am a right wing extremist ... and that all the members of my family who are veterans are also potential terrorists.

Who knew?

Well done!

Olbermann is, as I stated earlier, a clownish joke of a man and is about as entitled to be called a Journalist as my Dog, Diogenes.

I accused, apparently wrongly, Dan of stealing his stuff earlier because Dan's views, as expressed here, seemed straight down the line with Olbermann's as relates to the GOP and Bush. I would be interested to see what Dan might think of him but he doesn't get that channel. Lucky him.

Olbermann is a sportscaster/bad comedian/script reader for the leftist fools who produce his show. Unfortunately for them it isn't selling well, but here comes Nancy Pelosi and company to try to dictate what stations say or to force them to give equal time to the opposing view, as if there is only ever one and not ten. I will say that I do support something like equal time (within reason) for publically funded stations, but that is usually the procedure already at most of them, I believe.

It was a complete riot when Olbermann was upset about not being considered (let alone getting) the Meet The Press gig. One of my friends is a producer at NBC news in New York City and he (a dedicated left winger and a very nice guy) told me that Olbermann is the most narcissistic "talking head" he ever saw in his 20 years in the business.

Let's be honest about J. Garofalo as well. She is a failure on so many levels, I almost pity her. I do pity her. She will do and say anything to get on and get mentioned in the news and this is just that sort of thing. You shouldn't put too much on what she says she thinks because she obviously doesn't think at all and I honestly believe she holds no political opinion save that "Republicans are bad".

I will bet my fortune on it that she will not die well. I'm guessing suicide when the time comes where no matter what outrageous statement she makes no one will listen or publish it and Ben Stiller is no longer willing to throw her a bone with a role.

I respect your opinion on this but I do have to say that she is best ignored. This feeds her delusion of wisdom and importance. Feeds the idea among unthinking leftists (a specific group and not all leftists) that she is on to something. No one in the mainstream embraces her and the South Park guys nailed her wonderfully in Team America! I feel bad for her father, who apparently is aware of how off the tracks she is.
